Split Zine

Do you and a friend have work you’d like us to publish as a “split” zine? Submit your work for consideration in our rolling series of duo-artist zines!

These zines borrow from the indie/emo/punk/hardcore theme of a “Split" EP where two bands release two songs each on the same record.

Annual Photography MFA Candidate Survey Zine

Calling all current photography MFA candidates! We are looking to publish a curated zine that showcases what today’s photo MFA candidates are working on. We know projects evolve and grow over the two to three years of an MFA program, so we’re looking for candidates that are about to start their final year or are currently in their final year of their program. Show us what your work looks like, perhaps an image that you feel represents your thesis as a “holotype specimen” of your project, perhaps an image that you feel is the most interesting, the most challenging, and so on. Tell us where you study, especially if you’re at a smaller/lesser-known program!

Restrictions: Artists must be currently enrolled in an MFA program with photography as a main focus (it doesn’t have to be your specific degree, we know many programs are inter-disciplinary now).

Submissions open: June 1 to August 31, yearly (submissions outside of this time will not be considered)

Selections announced: September 15, yearly

Entry fee: $5 for 3 images
